The program’s account also published a video of the Iraqi star Majed Al-Mohandes, and attached it to a comment that said: “Majid Al-Mohandes will help Saudi talents to achieve the first step in the career of stardom..Wait for him in the Saudi Idol jury on MBC1.”
Majed Al-Mohandes said in his video message: “All of us, as artists, had a difficult start, and we were waiting for an opportunity through which we could achieve our dream. Today, by being on the Saudi Idol committee, I will help Saudi talents to achieve the first step in the journey of stardom.”
The star, Aseel Abu Bakr
The program’s account also published a video of the message of the Saudi star, Aseel Abu Bakr, and attached it to a comment in which he wrote: “Aseel Abu Bakr’s great experience in the field of art will be employed in the service of emerging Saudi talents..Wait for him soon in the Saudi Idol jury on MBC1.”

It is noteworthy that Counselor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority, had announced the launch of the “Saudi Idol” program, the first of its kind, and is concerned with discovering singing talents in Saudi Arabia, in a new partnership between the Entertainment Authority and MBC Group.
Turki Al-Sheikh said in a tweet to him on Twitter: “I am happy to announce a new partnership between the Entertainment Authority and the MBC Group to launch the Saudi Idol program with artists Aseel Abu Bakr, Ahlam, Asala, and Majid Al-Mohandes on the jury. The first show of the program begins in December 2022.”
The Emirati star Ahlam had published a number of photos on her accounts on social networking sites, in which she revealed part of the scenes of the “Saudi Idol” program.
One of the photos collected the Emirati artist with the advisor Turki Al Sheikh, head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, during his visit to the program, along with pictures of the Sheikh family with Asala, Majid Al Mohandes, Aseel Abu Bakr, and Faiq Hassan, and wrote on it: “Hello, welcome, and welcome, the precious one.”
Ahlam also published a video clip of Turki Al Sheikh from the visit, commenting on it: “Your Excellency’s presence and your continuous support is success. Thank you, Your Excellency, you warmed our hearts with your real presence.
The star, Ahlam, had announced that the release of her new album had been postponed from last October to this December. Because of her preoccupation with preparing for the Saudi Idol program.
