Decoding Annie Parker is based on a true story. Genetic research conducted by Dr. Marie Claire King with the BRCA-1 gene mutation has affected many women. Now, early detection of the BRCA-1 gene makes breast cancer a preventable disease. But many women cannot afford the surgery or feel insecure about the consequences of a mastectomy.
The film revolves around Annie Parker, who lost her mother and sister due to the same illness she suffers from in the film. Her story gradually intertwines with a geneticist (Marie Claire King), who discovers the gene responsible for inheriting disease and revolutionizes the world of medicine.

The 31-year-old is a wonderful person. Aside from her cancer, she cooks and deals with her young sons after school.
The film does not provide many medical details. But he does go through some of her struggles like when she goes up several flights of stairs to get home, she’s exhausted, and she needs a rest. I’m tired of radiotherapy. However when you walk down the street you smile and you look so good.
