Bitter news came from the Claw-Lock operation area. The Ministry of National Defense (MSB) announced that 4 soldiers were killed and 2 soldiers were injured in the conflict with terrorists.

“OPERATIONS CONTINUE IN THE REGION”

The statement from the MSB said:

  • Infantry Specialist Sergeant Harun Yıldırım and Infantry Specialist Sergeant Savaş Borlu were martyred in the clash with the separatist terrorist organization members on September 11, 2022, in the Claw-Lock operation region. Our wounded were immediately transferred to the hospital and their treatment started. Operations continue in the region.
  • Infantry Petty Officer Senior Sergeant Gökhan Ağıl, who was injured in the conflict with BTO members in the Claw-Lock operation region during the Search and Scanning activity, and continued to be treated at the hospital, could not be saved and became a martyr despite all the interventions. Operations continue in the region.
  • P. Uzm., one of our 4 heroic comrades, who were injured in the clash with BTO members during the Search and Scan operation in the Claw-Lock operation region and continued to be treated at the hospital. Conv. Despite all the interventions, Fatih Kalkan could not be saved and was martyred.
