The governorship, which does not have resting places, ambulance, tent and beverage stands on the road, caused chaos by not allowing vehicles to enter and exit at certain hours.
Citizens tried to rest by lying down on stones and cliffs. Those who came with their children had to return. The hanging of the banner “President Erdoğan is in Afyonkarahisar” over the inscription “Atatürk Underpass” written on an underpass drew a reaction.
‘WE WILL NOT FORGET’
Kadem Özbay, President of Eğitim-İş, who participated in the march, also reacted to this situation. Özbay, “100. Let those who turn the march into torture at the beginning of the year know, with the belief and determination of that day, we will continue to keep our victory, its leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and the secular, modern, fully independent Republic of Turkey alive forever, and to pass it on to future generations.”
