There are also players that Xavi does not think he will count on next season, such as Clement Lenglet, Ricky Puig, Samuel Umtiti, Martin Braithwaite and Oscar Mingueza.

According to “Marca”, the Barcelona administration has not yet fulfilled Xavi’s expectations regarding the players to be contracted, to improve the team’s chances of competing in the various tournaments that it will play next season.

The Spanish newspaper indicated that Xavi had received a promise from a senior Barcelona official that he would include Polish Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich.

Barcelona raised the value of the offer made to Bayern Munich, the German football champion, to give up top scorer Lewandowski to 40 million euros, according to German media, on Wednesday.
