5.5 magnitude earthquake in Iran | Recent earthquakes – Last Minute World News

According to the statement made by the Tehran University Seismology Center, the earthquake was recorded at 12:06 local time, with its epicenter in the Sercengel region of Zahidan, the capital of Sistan-Baluchistan province.

It was stated that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 16 kilometers.

Ali Rıza Şehreki, General Manager of Sistan-Baluchistan Crisis Management Office, announced that investigation teams were sent to the region to determine the damage caused by the 5.5-magnitude earthquake.

The shaking was also felt in Zahidan, the capital of Sistan-Baluchistan province.
