Located close to two metropolitan cities such as Ankara and Istanbul, Akçakoca welcomes thousands of tourists every year with its blue flag beaches, historical Genoese Castle and resting areas.
The tourism season, which started in June last year in the district, opened early this year with the increase in air temperatures. Domestic and foreign tourists, who started to come to Akçakoca, spent time on the beach, participated in boat tours and had fun.
Deputy Mayor Yüksel Yılmaz told AA correspondent that all businesses are ready for the season.
Expressing that they would be pleased to host the guests in Akçakoca as the municipality, Yılmaz said, “We welcome tourists from all provinces and districts to Akçakoca. They can spend their holidays in peace and security. Akçakoca is the pearl of the Western Black Sea Region. It is close to metropolises such as Ankara and Istanbul. It is one of its star-star hotels. “The sea is beautiful, our nature is beautiful. There are public beaches. Also, the restoration of the Genoese Castle is finished. We welcome all tourists.” he said.
