Istanbul Governor’s Office made a statement and announced that some roads will be temporarily closed to traffic as of 11:00 today due to the “19 May Youth March”. According to the statement made by the governorship, the roads to be closed and alternative routes are as follows:
Roads to be closed during the transition of the student group;
Rıhtım Avenue, (the part between the Atatürk Monument and the entrance to the Pier Police Station)
Rıhtım Street – Colonel Faik Sözdener Street, (the part between Rıhtım Street intersection and Söğütlüçeşme Street intersection)
Söğütlüçeşme Street Tramway- General Asım Gündüz Street, (the part between the intersection of Chios Gülü Street and Kuşdili Street)
Alternative routes;
Mühürdar Street, Moda Street
