A National Women’s Basketball Team will enter the camp in Bolu

Competing in the FIBA ​​2023 Women’s European Championship Qualifiers, the National Women’s Basketball Team will organize a camp in Bolu as part of the preparations.

According to the statement made by the Turkish Basketball Federation, the crescent-star team will start their work in Bolu on Thursday, May 26. The preparation camp of the nationals will last until Monday, June 20.

The following players were included in the camp squad in Bolu of the A National Team under the management of head coach Ceyhun Yıldızoğlu:

The national team in Group D in the FIBA ​​2023 Women’s European Championship Qualifiers; It is battling Poland, Slovenia and Albania. The crescent-star team, which won its first 2 matches in the group, is in the first place.

In the first match of the qualifiers, the national team defeated Slovenia 78-62 away, and in the second match, they defeated Poland 52-41 in Kocaeli. Nationals will face Albania on November 24 and Slovenia on November 27.

In the qualifiers, there are 38 teams in 10 groups, 8 of which are quads and 2 are triples. 10 group winners and 4 best group runners-ups will take part in the organization where host countries Israel and Slovenia will participate directly. In groups of four teams, the result of the matches with the last team will not be taken into account.
