In Konya’s Ereğli and Halkapınar districts, the number of people who applied to the hospital with complaints of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea exceeded 1200 yesterday. Samples were taken from the water lines in the area and sent to the laboratory for analysis.
In Ereğli and Halkapınar districts, more than 1200 people applied to the district state hospitals with complaints of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea as of Saturday night. According to the information received from Konya Provincial Health Directorate officials, the density experienced in Ereğli and Halkapınar State Hospital decreased towards this morning. While those who applied to the hospitals were discharged, it was stated that their health conditions were good.
Provincial Health Directorate, District Agriculture Directorate and Ereğli Municipality teams took samples from the water lines in the region and sent them to the laboratory for analysis. In the coming days, it was stated that the cause of the complaints of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea will become clear.
