The lawsuit against Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu, who died in 2009 after the helicopter crash in Kahramanmaraş, and the five people accompanying him, continues. According to MYP Secretary General Haşim Yanar, who stated that he thought the police officer Erol Yıldız, who will testify at the hearing, died “suspiciously”, “such a death is not possible”.

We want this death to be clarified,” he said.

“Erol, Muhsin President, was one of the friends who had a definite opinion that the search and rescue efforts were interrupted and that there was negligence, and expressed this clearly. We were in constant contact with Mr. Erol. We expected him to testify in this direction. He was going to tell about the omissions at the trial. I don’t know how the other two cops will testify, but they need to be put under protection until the trial.”
