Avcılar Municipality Council Member Oya Turan succumbed to cancer, for which she had been treated for about a year, and passed away yesterday. The first ceremony for Turan was held in front of Avcılar Municipality.
Avcılar Mayor Turan Hançerli, Avcılar District Governor Kemal İnan, political party representatives and municipality employees and hundreds of fans attended the ceremony.
After getting halal in front of the municipality, Oya Turan’s body was taken to Avcılar Garip Dede Tomb. It was learned that Turan will be buried at 17.00 in Sultangazi Yayla Cemetery.
