Test plane landed on runway at Rize-Artvin Airport
The foundation of Rize-Artvin Airport, which was designed by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure on an area of 1000 hectares in Yeşilköy, in the Pazar district of Rize, was laid on April 3, 2017.

At the airport, test flights are continuing with the flight control plane to activate the navigation devices on the 3,000-meter-long, 45-meter-wide runway. The first landing with the incoming test aircraft for the checks of the ILS devices that steer the aircraft to the center line of the runway was successfully performed.
