UEFA Observer and Video Assistant Referee (VAR) Coordinator Baris Simsekwas assigned to the UEFA CORE Course.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, Barış Şimşek was assigned as the referee coach of the Italian and Northern Irish referee trio within the scope of the project.
Organized for the 54th time, the CORE Course is held in Switzerland with the participation of promising referees from 8 different countries.
In addition to the theoretical and practical training given to the referees in the course, a physical proficiency test is also applied.
