LAST MINUTE NEWS: Chief of General Staff Akar met with his Ukrainian counterpart – Last Minute World News

Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar spoke on the phone with Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov.

According to the statement made by the Ministry, the meeting focused on ensuring safe transportation of A400M aircraft belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces and commercial ships waiting in Ukrainian ports to Turkey.

During the meeting, Minister Akar emphasized once again that the need for a ceasefire declaration and that Turkey will continue to do its part in peace building and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, as it has done so far.
