The high-soled sneakers are now available for pre-order online worldwide.Balenciaga explained the idea behind the collection’s sneakers: “The reshaped classic design interprets mid-century athletics and timeless casual wear in black, white or red with a white rubber sole and toe cap. Finished with worn fabric and jagged edges that support a pre-worn look. .The Balenciaga Paris Sneaker comes in different lace-up styles, either high ankle-length or open heel. Still life portraits by photographer Leopold Duchemin show that the Paris Sneaker should be worn for life.” On the other hand, Balenciaga started advertising the shoes a while ago, and shoes with a much older look were used, as in the image.However, social media users are not so sure that Balenciaga’s new model will have a long life. One user said, “So do these shoes smell as they look? Looks like a shoe that could come out of the trash” while another wrote, “Rich people like to look poor but just for aesthetics. He has no idea what is going on in the real world.”On the other hand, Balenciaga Paris Sneaker started to be sold in European stores on 9 May. It will be available in US and Middle East stores on May 16 and in stores in Japan on May 23, 2022.
