Ukraine confirms that Russia has not controlled any strategic goals so far

Foreign Minister confirmed Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba that his country’s forces shot down 46 warplanes and destroyed 746 tanks and 600 armored vehicles.

During his speech at a press conference, he indicated that Russia It has not achieved any strategic goal so far, stressing that the Russians do not control any major city.

In his speech, Kuleba explained that the Russian forces had taken control of the Chernobyl nuclear plant, stressing that there were Ukrainian civilians killed in indiscriminate bombing in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister added that the State of Belarus has shown solidarity with Russia against us and used its territory in aggression against Ukraine

While Kuleba said that the resistance in his country was a surprise to the Russian forces that invaded his country

The Ukrainian presidency had announced that it had agreed to hold talks with Russia to be held on the border with Belarus near Chernobyl, in a decision taken after mediation by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.

“The Ukrainian delegation will meet the Russian (delegation) without any preconditions, at the Ukrainian-Belarusian border in the Pripyat River region,” the Ukrainian presidency wrote on social networks.

The nearest city in this region from the Ukrainian side is Pripyat, which has become known worldwide since the accident at the nearby Chernobyl nuclear power plant in 1986.

This deserted area has become a tourist destination in recent years.

For his part, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the meeting would be held in the Gomel region of Belarus, without giving further details. This region shares a border with the Pripyat region.

The Ukrainian presidency did not specify the date of these talks, but Russia said they would take place on Sunday. According to President Vladimir Putin, a Russian delegation is currently in Gomel
