The World Karate League competitions, organized in the Emirate of Fujairah for the first time, will be concluded tomorrow at Zayed Sports Complex, under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.

The final day of the championship will witness the finals of 12 competitions, men’s and women’s individual kata competitions, women’s kumite competitions, weights 50, 55, 61, 68, + 68 kg, and men’s competitions, weights 60, 67, 75, 84, + 84 kg, to determine the first, second and third places, and in the most prominent The confrontations within the 60 kg weight category for the “men” kumite competition, Jordan’s Abdullah Hamdan will face his counterpart Erwick from Russia, and in the 67 kg final, Trall from Azerbaijan will meet the player Didar Amirali from Kazakhstan, and in the 75 kg final there will be an exciting confrontation between the Egyptian Abdullah Abdul Aziz in front of Al-Hangari Jubar.

In the women’s kata category, the final will be “pure Japanese” and pit kiwi against her compatriot Onni, and in the 50-kilogram category (kumite), the Egyptian Yasmine Nasser will meet her counterpart Moldera from Kazakhstan, and in the 55-kilogram weight category, the final will be between Ukrainian Anzelika and Russian Anna.

For his part, Humaid Shamis, Assistant Secretary-General and Coordinator General of the tournament, revealed his happiness for organizing the tournament in the Emirate of Fujairah for the first time and thanked the organizing committee. Wishing good luck to all the workers in the championship.

In turn, expert Mohamed Abbas, the tournament’s technical director, said that the tournament is witnessing strong competitions at the highest level between world champions and champions and the Karate Olympiad.

The championship was launched on Friday, in the presence of the Spaniard Antonio Spinos, President of the International Karate Federation, his deputy, Major General “M” Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al Razoqi, President of the UAE and Asian Karate Federations, Brigadier Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, and guests of the tournament.
